You can complain by email or by phone. You do not have to fill in a special form. Tell us what happened, when it happened, what you would like us to do, and the best way to reach you. If you have a reference number or papers that help explain it, include those.
What we will do
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day of receiving it.
- We will look at what happened, keep a record, and tell you if we need something more from you.
- We will give you a final response within 30 calendar days of receiving the complaint. Where we can resolve it sooner, we will.
The final response will be in writing. It will state the outcome, the reasons for that outcome, and that you can go to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) if you are not satisfied. You can also go to AFCA if we do not give you a final response within 30 calendar days.
If we need more than 30 calendar days, we will tell you why before that time is up, and we will tell you that you can go to AFCA.
